Showcasing all 5 of the elements that make up this "experience" we call HIPHOP. Not a competition, a celebration of the culture!

LET "THE GAME" BEGIN!

Imagine walking into a party with a huge stage as the focal point.
On the stage is a DJ, breakers, and an artist with a huge mural as the backdrop
for the stage.
Everyone's doing their thing, and then you add the MCs.
No different from listening to a hot DJ spinning hot cuts at a hot club, except with this, you get to see, hear & feel REAL HipHop, created before your eyes & ears through "on the spot" graffiti/visual art painted by an artist; dance moves executed flawlessly by breakers while they generate "fresh" art-in-motion to the beat; lyrical sonnets are crafted by verbally gifted MCs, while the DJ scratches, cuts & blends the music and the vibe into one cool, orchestrated "HipHop Symphony".

This is HipHop in it's truest form. Creative, Hip, and Free-Flowing.

This event can be held four times a year (Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall) at a host city TBD.
A Host MC & DJ (Ex. Chicago - Common/DJ Twilight Tone, New York - Talib Kweli/DJ Hi-Tek)
will be selected for each event, and will receive the coveted "Platinum Medal" for their excellence in keeping the "HipHop Torch" lit.
Local MCs, DJs, artists, and dance crews will receive the traditional bronze, silver & gold metals for skills, and participation, as voted on by guest in the crowd & online.

Intermission can showcase the style/culture element of HipHop by way of a "Fashion In HipHop" runway show featuring local urban designers, clothing companies/stores & boutiques.
This would also be a nice contrast to what MGD has done with "The Craft".
A more free-flowing, club style event, liquor sponsored cocktails & hors d' oeuvres will be flowing, and passed, as well as cool merchandise & music available for sell.
Mark Ecko, Adidas or Nike could present new, HipHop-inspired shoes on silver platters, etc.

You can dance, watch, walk around, mingle, drink, eat, buy something, etc.
The "after-marketing" for this event could be the video, audio & images translated to a show in segments like Def Poetry & Def Comedy, as well as making content available for sell via event specific jumpdrives & webisodes.
