coming of Donnie Hathaway?
At the very least, he would fill the musical void left by the
absence of D'Angelo.
This cool, smooth, 20-something from OK is the "truth"!
I knew it the first time I heard him, and everyone else who's heard
him live will agree.
Jeremy, or JKees as I call him, is not only an accomplished
songwriter/producer in his own right, he can mesmerize you with his
soulful vocals, just as easily as he can take you on a melodic
escapade with his stellar, off the cuff key/piano playing (hence his
namesake).
And while he can croon, and create with the best of them, the vibe
and aura he projects can only be described as musically magical.
